Hurricane Alex
Tropical Storm Alex became a hurricane as of 10pm CDT Tuesday nite.
Hurricane Alex will hit 100miles south of Brownsville TX.
Alex is either going to hit inland tonite or tomorrow. But the thing that I have just learned is this: In these bands isolated tornadoes will be possible anywhere within 50 – 100 miles of the southeast Texas Coast!
My location is Midtown - Houston TX and I will be updating this post through the day on the hurricane as well as the current weather conditions in my location. The location.
The hurricane is going to make landfall @ 7pm tonite!!!!
There are already reports to tornadoes & flooded roads!! In Galveston & Mexico !!! The hurricane is a CAT 2!!!!
Weather
12:47pm
Light rain w/ light winds. - nothing to much to be a big threat to get concerned about.
3:30pm
light gray skies w/ light wind. Around the early hour of 3 we did have a moderate rain shower w/ no thunder.
4:30pm
very light gray skies & windy.
Here i have found a more recent map of Hurricane Alex.
The map above is continuously updated on the current weather as u can see.
Here is a map below that was hurricane ALEX at CAT2 -

Tropical Storm ~ Hurrcaine Alex
About 2 weeks ago the meteorologists were not real concerned about this low pressure system but they kept their eyes on it. & what do u know. It comes in to the Caribbean & into the gulf & now they are saying that it will become or could become a hurricane before it makes landfall & that’s all we need with that oil spoil but luckily its steering far away from it. So I don’t think it will spread any farther than it is already doing.
I heard when i was driving into work that the (now) tropical storm will become a hurricane but not a CAT 1 BUT a CAT2!!!

Severe Thunder Storm
On Monday nite I drove to my Kuk Sool Won school for class that nite & as I drove to my class I noticed grayish clouds moving in & didn’t think twice about it. I was getting ready for class & my sensei had me meet someone new but later did I know she was a returning student! We talked up a storm. Before the class started I noticed the once gray clouds now a dark navy blueish grayish clouds as it was coming in. So we were warming up & a lighting blot shot through the sky. We were doing a light jog & I couldn’t keep my eyes off the storm clouds & I almost ran in the to poll! Now we have mirrors on one wall which shows the parking lot. & through the class I saw every so often lighting shooting through the clouds. By the end of class there were more lighting strikes then when we were warming up!! It was very pretty to watch. So I decided that when I got home I would try to capture the lighting in a photo. The end results weren’t what I though they would be. Its more difficult then fireworks!

Storm Chaser Day Dreamin
I wonder if there are for fact storm chasers or tornado chasers out there that do actually what the one in twister.
I guess i like it when its really storming outside specifically severe storms like thunder and tornadoes when everyone is in hidding & ur out in the storm and facing the storm face to face!! I love the fear of not knowing what the storm is going to do plus the audio adrenaline the experience gives you while u are out in it!! Yeah!!! I guess i can only live it up in my imagination but in real life i really do fear those storms.

New Hobbies !!
Im soo excited cause im going to become a SKYWARN Spotter. What that is – is a storm spotter.
U just have to take a class and then u are certified . The when u do spot severe weather u can report it then what the skw does is it reports it to the national weather service!
Well I know for sure that im going to be a spotter & can’t wait until I take my class & all.
I hope I don’t have to report any tornadoes right in front of my house lol!!!
I have also been thinking of becoming a HAM but I haven’t made my decision on it yet.
It would be pretty cool to get on the radio a two-way radio & be talking something like this:
This is Lu over this blah over Is there any tornadoes over there over. No lu there isn’t. over. Code Red blah get out of there. Roger that Lu im out of there. Over that’s good. Over & out.
Something like that! I just how the chasers talked back & forward on the 2-way radio like on the movie twister!
Well that’s it for now. Over & out.
